Proper Pruning & Chainsaw Safety For Homeowners Workshop

This workshop will serve homeowners who wish to learn more about proper pruning and safe chainsaw operation around the home and yard. Topics discussed will include the proper timing, techniques, and equipment for pruning ornamentals and fruit trees, as well as the safety practices, chainsaw design, PPE, ergonomics, proper starting, limbing & bucking, for safe chainsaw operation. On-site demonstrations for pruning and chainsaw use will be conducted. Participants must pre-register for $25. Registration includes a seat at the seminars and field demonstrations, lunch, and printed presentation materials and related publications.
