Pine Needle Blight Update Workshop

Sheriff’s Training Center, 17256 Jordan St., Chatom, AL 36518

Pine Needle Blight is emerging as a major pest and management concern in south Alabama. A disease previously thought to have limited impact is raising concerns for forest managers and landowners on the Gulf Coast. This workshop will serve to introduce attendees to the disease, provide an update on the newest information, and provide an opportunity to visit field sites where this pest is currently causing significant tree mortality.
