Mourning Dove Biology and Management

Mourning doves are one of the most popular game birds in Alabama, with hunters spending over 100,000 days in field and harvesting over 1 million doves. This workshop will educate landowners and hunters about the biology and life history of mourning doves. In addition, this workshop will discuss habitat preferences for mourning doves and how to effectively, and legally, plant and managing dove fields.
