Learn to Burn (Prescribe Burn) Program – Macon

3450 County Road 10, Tuskegee, AL 36083

Prescribed fire is a complex tool landowners and managers use to improve habitat, reduce hazard fuel loads, and restore forestland. During this learn to burn workshop, attendees are paired with experienced prescribed burners, typically Certified Prescribed Burn Managers, who serve as mentors throughout the event. Who should attend? Landowners, natural resource professionals, students, and inquisitive citizens.
