Invasive Species Walk & Talk

Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve, 1214 81st St. South, Birmingham, AL 35206

Join us at Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve as Dr. Nancy Loewenstein leads a naturalist walk to discuss plant communities and the threats invasive species pose. During the walk, invasive species will be identified, and management strategies discussed. We will be walking the trails so if assistance is needed, please email Lynn Dickinson as soon as possible so accommodations can be made. Please wear appropriate shoes and bring sun screen. Water will be provided at the beginning and end of the walk.
