Homesteading Series

207 South Kimball Ave, Lil Touch of Cajun Grill, Jackson, AL 36545

Interested in homesteading ? Wondering if you can make a profit ? This series is for you ! We will focus on the requirements of different homesteading endeavors and how to make them into a successful business. Economists and production specialists with The Alabama Cooperative Extension System will discuss budgets and requirements for a variety of fruit, vegetable and livestock enterprises. This program is not a “how to” program, but a “can I” or “should I” program. The program is designed to help potential producers know the opportunities, requirements, and possible pitfalls associated with multiple small scale agricultural business enterprises and to evaluate the appropriateness of each enterprise for their situation.
