Food Preservation Camp – Houston County
National Peanut Festival Volunteer Building, 5622 Us Hwy 231 South, Dothan, AL 36301
The ACES Food Safety team will be teaching 2-day workshops on a variety of food preservation methods in three locations across the state. These will be hands-on classes limited to 20 participants. Register early to save your spot. You can attend one or both days. Bring a friend, an apron, comfy clothes, and shoes, because we will be busy from 10am to 4pm. You will carry home products each day. Bring your dial gauge pressure canner lid to test your dial gauge for accuracy. The fee is $20 per day (See registration link for locations and dates).
