Eco-Friendly Friday Environmental Series

Join us on the second Friday of each month to learn about our environment, ways to help safeguard human, animal, and environmental health, and ways to reduce your ecological footprint. Whether you are an educator, environmental professional, or nature-lover, tune in to discover how to be a better steward of the environment. Registration is required.

September 12- Fifteen Tried and True Native Plants for North Alabama, with AAMU Herbarium Curator Lynne Weninegar
October 10- How and Why Pruning Shapes Trees Over Time, with Urban Extension Agent Joel Potter
November 14- Winter Bird Feeding, with Urban Extension Agent Dr. Roosevelt Robinson
