Cool Season Baleage Workshop – Wiregrass Research & Extension Center

An annual workshop to learn about baleage (haylage) production, harvest and storage using cool season annuals (small grain forage varieties and ryegrass). Presentations form Extension Specialists, Alabama Ag. Experiment Station personnel and industry / agribusiness professionals. Topics include: Forage Species Selection, Quality Baleage Production, Feeding Baleage to Beef Cattle, Baleage Equipment, Applying an Inoculate to Baleage and Baleage Production Tips. A sponsored lunch is provided. The workshop does not require a fee.
