A Guide to Herbicides in Natural Areas
Monroe County Conservation and Education Center, 1 Teen Trail, Monroeville, AL 36460
This workshop will provide landowners and land managers with information on the use of herbicides in a variety of land management scenarios. Topics will include: – Pesticide Rules and Regulations, Terminology and Safety – Federal Cost Share Opportunities – Forestry Herbicides and Application Methods for Common Management Goals – Sprayer Calibration – Invasive Species Identification and Management – Food Plot Management and Herbicides – Managing Vegetation In and Around Waterways.
Continuing Education credits include: 5 – Cat 1 – ASBRF CFE, 5 – PLM, and 10 CPA – AQ, ROW, DR, FOR
***Workshop is free with no CEU credits; $50 with CEU credits.
