The Alabama Cooperative Extension System has a long history of serving people and communities. Based at Alabama A&M and Auburn universities, and with county offices across the state, our mission is to provide impactful, relevant educational resources, advance urban and suburban communities, and enhance the quality of life for residents in Alabama.

We Offer More Than Agriculture

While we are known for helping farmers in the field, we also deliver a wide range of reliable information for those living in urban communities. With online and in-person learning opportunities, people of all ages can get tips on managing money, gardening, finding a job, or eating healthy, for starters.
