Melon and Mint, watermelon and honeydew on white plate

Summertime calls for a cool snack that tastes great! The Live Well Alabama recipe Melon and Mint brings together watermelon, honeydew, and mint with just a touch of honey for sweetness. This tasty treat is also a good source of vitamin C.

Tips: Be creative! Add or substitute your favorite fruits in this summer snack. No mint? Use basil for a different fresh flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups watermelon, diced
  • 3 cups honeydew melon, diced
  • ¼ cup mint leaves, chopped
  • Juice from ½ lime
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Directions

  • In large bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well.
  • Serve chilled.
