Small businesses have been hit especially hard during COVID-19. Forced closures and limited re-opening opportunities have caused severe economic problems for most of America’s small businesses. Many small businesses have limited resources to fall back on when a disaster event takes place. In 2017, the Small Business Administration (SBA) reported that 2.52 million businesses were majority-owned by veterans.

The Veterans Administration’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) helps support veteran-owned small businesses. They have teamed up with the SBA to offer a number of online resources for these businesses. For more information on what resources are available for these businesses during COVID-19, visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website.
