AUBURN UNIVERSITY, Ala. – Get children involved in helping with dinner this weekend with this Quick Pita Pizza recipe. Not only is this Food Friday recipe delicious, it is also fun! Children can have fun building their own pizza.
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup chicken, cooked and diced
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 4 whole wheat pitas
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Place pizza sauce, chicken, spinach, and cheese evenly on pita. Place each pita on baking sheet. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes.
