food access survey; Group of volunteer people donating groceries

Researchers from the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Auburn University and Auburn University at Montgomery are assessing the effects of COVID-19 on food insecurity in Alabama. An online survey has been developed to collect data on food access.

The survey is voluntary and anonymous. Results will be used to shape future program and resource development as they relate to food access and security. Participants must be 18 years old or older. One survey completion is allowed per household.

Due to the broad-reaching impacts on the availability of food, the survey may be longer than typical surveys. However, the gathering of as much accurate information as possible is essential.

Participants who choose to provide their email address at the end of the survey may be entered in a raffle to receive one of twenty $50 gift cards to Walmart.

Please complete the food access survey at https://aub.ie/coronavirus-survey by July 15 and direct any questions to Katie Funderburk at kem0017@auburn.edu.

Thank you in advance for your participation. We wish you well during these challenging times.
