What to Expect

Do you need help connecting to virtual workshops and trainings? New to Zoom and not sure how to use it? Join Alabama Extension to learn the basic features of Zoom. In keeping a safe distance between oneself and others, many individuals, especially older adults, are becoming socially isolated.  Zoom, a communication platform, helps individuals stay connected to family, colleagues and friends.
This free, three-day class will provide hands-on, interactive activities in helping you learn Zoom.  It will teach you how to not only join Zoom meetings, but how to set-up and host your own meetings or sessions. Some of the activities will also involve you creating and launching polls, sharing screens, creating registrations, utilizing breakout rooms, etc.
