Develop, implement and evaluate educational programs and training activities related to family life and human development throughout the life cycle. Provide conceptual leadership and technical support to the organization of Family Resource Networks that focus on programs that contribute to the strength and resiliency of families throughout the life cycle. Provide core leadership for parenting programs with a focus on building strengths in special needs families as divorced parents, single parents, and grandparents parenting grandchildren. Also provide leadership for school-age child care programs and design program modules that encourage parental involvement. Provide technical support to the Family Center with the Family and Consumer Sciences Unit at Alabama A&M University. Family Center programs support and correlate with family programs offered through the System.
