The result was an aggregation of delicious ideas from all parts of the state, from the Tennessee Valley to the Wiregrass to the Gulf Coast. The book also features some of the favorite recipes of the late Earl F. Kennamer, Extension Wildlife Specialist.
In addition, Cooking Alabama’s Wild Game includes information on the proper cleaning, care, and storage of wild game meats. And, if you don’t happen to have game meats on hand, the book tells you how to substitute domestic meats such as lean beef or pork.
