First, read the list of suggested activities in YANR-155. Then, check all the things listed here that you plan to do this year. As you complete each activity, fill in the date you completed it. Then write down one or two things you learned from your experience.

SELECTING A DOG
Write a short paper on your favorite breed.      
Select a dog or help someone choose one.      
Read stories about dogs that help people.      
HEALTH AND CARE
Take your dog to the veterinarian.      
Study kinds of dog food.      
Bathe and brush your dog regularly.      
Learn what to do if your dog has a minor cut or bite.      
Learn what to do if your dog gets hit by a car.      
Learn what to do if your dog has motion sickness.      
Train your dog to obey commands of come and stay.      
Train your dog to obey commands of no and down.      
Make a bed for your dog.      
House break your dog if it stays inside.      
SHARING KNOWLEDGE
Give a talk on dog care.      
Give a talk on training a dog.      
Talk to other dog owners
about dogs.
     
Let someone play with your dog.      
Help someone with a new puppy.      
Care for someone's dog while they are away.      
Help someone train a dog.
