Maintaining a permanent record of all animal treatments is crucial for keeping drug residues out of meat. Records should also provide a history of drug purchases and use, or inventory. This publication teaches you how to keep the proper records and provides charts in which to record your data. Records are the key part of a quality assurance program. They provide validation to the practices used on a farm/ranch to ensure beef quality. Group, and more important, individual identification make records possible.
