(1) Pigs weaned at less than 28 days of age. This diet should contain 25 to 75 percent milk products.
(2) This diet should contain 5 to 25 percent milk products.
(3) When adding large amounts of dried whey (10 percent or more), the added salt should be reduced (0.25 percent) because of the high salt content of some whey products.
(4) Addition of 57 to 114 mg per pound of copper from copper sulfate has been shown to improve performance of young pigs (up to 40 pounds).
