Alabama Master Naturalist

The Alabama Master Naturalist Mission:

The Alabama Master Naturalist Program’s purpose is to educate adult Alabama citizens who are interested in learning more about Alabama’s vast natural diversity through science-based information and research. In addition, the AMN program also encourages these adults to become volunteers to their communities in the areas of providing education, outreach and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within their region.

Alabama full or part-time residents who are interested in nature, enjoy the outdoors, and have a desire to help with natural resource management and conservation in Alabama are perfect candidates to become Alabama Master Naturalists. The AMN Program is open to adults who reside or work in Alabama for at least part of the year. It is open to all adults regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation, or marital or family status.
