Recently retired as Extension Forester, University of Arkansas Southwest Research and Extension Center, and Forestry Instructor, University of Arkansas Community College at Hope.

B.S. in Forestry from Louisiana State University in 1970

M.S. in Hardwood Silviculture and Statistics from Louisiana State University in 1972

D.F. in Forest Soils and Hydrology from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1983

Previous work experience with the USDA Forest Service and Soil Conservation Service.

Before joining the faculty at the University of Arkansas in 1988, Frank was a Forest Management Specialist with the Alabama Cooperative Extension Service, Auburn University.

Frank is a member of the Society of American Foresters and is a Registered Forester in Arkansas.  He serves on the Board of Directors of the Arkansas Forestry Association and is Chairman of the Arkansas Board of Registration for Foresters.
