| Gary Goff Gary Goff joined
the Department of Natural Resources at Cornell University in 1980 as an
Extension Associate for the Renewable Resources Extension Program. His
areas of expertise are in Forest management, Silviculture, Wildlife
Management Enhancement, and Extension Education. He currently works
with Master Forest Owners/COVERTS volunteer program, Habitat
enhancement for grassland birds, Quality Deer Management,
Community-based Biodiversity and Habitat Conservation, and teaches at
in service trainings for extension educators and professional natural
resource managers.

Gary earned his bachlor's degree from Cornell University in 1974 and a
master's degree from SUNY College of Enviromental Sciences in 1979. He
teaches NR325 Woodlot Management and Maple Syrup production. Some
publications written are "Understanding chronic wasting disease in NY
State", "Writing forest stewardship plans; tools, techniques, and
training", and "Volunteers making a difference
