Linda is Professor Emeritus of Entomology with the West Virginia University, Division of Plant and Soil Sciences and the WVU Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station. During her 38 years as a WVU faculty member, Linda taught 9 different courses. She received her B.S. (Entomology) in 1965, her M.S. (Entomology) in 1966, and her Ph.D. (Entomology) in 1968 from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. |

Linda's major research interests include insect ecology; insect pest management; insect fauna of West Virginia; vegetable pest management; forest entomology; Macrolepidopterous defoliators and their parasitoids and diseases; impact of gypsy moth suppression and defoliation on non-target arthropods.
