Description: The September Diabetes Support Group meeting will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at the Dallas County Health Department, Community Room, 100 Samuel L. Moseley Drive, Selma, Alabama. Conquering the Grocery Store/Understanding Food Labels will be the topic for this month's meeting presented by Mrs. Callie N. Nelson. The discussion will focus on ways to understand food labels and make healthy choices when shopping. Recipes will be shared as well as a taste testing. Description: Annie's Project is a six week program designed for women on the farm to learn more about farm finances and risk management practices. The workshop series will be held at the Barbour County Extension Office on Monday evening from September 10 through October 15. Please register for this class by calling the office at 334-687-5688 or for more information call Jessica Kelton at 334-405-0699. There is a $50 registration fee that will cover supplies provided during the series.
