Description: Tuesday Sept. 18 and Wednesday Sept. 19, 2018 Autauga Co. Extension Office. Autaugaville, Alabama. What is ForestHER? This two-day workshop is an opportunity for women landowners to learn about forest management topics that are important to them in a relaxed, fun setting. Learn how to read maps and deeds, measure your forest trees, and market timber and non-timber forest products. This workshop is very "hands-on" with demonstrations, field tours, and opportunities to practice new skills. Where? 2226 AL-14, Autaugaville, AL When? 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tues., Sept. 18 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wed., Sept. 19 Who can attend? This program is especially for women who love nature and learning about the natural world. You don't have to own a lot of land. If you have just a few acres, this workshop is for you, too! Description: Interested in improving your photography skills? Then join us for an amateur outdoor photography course with 6 unique classes. Knowledge and use of a DSLR camera, tripod, multiple lens, and off-camera flash is recommended. This is NOT a beginner course.
