Description: A Private Applicator uses or supervises the use of any pesticide for producing any agricultural commodity on property owned or rented, or on the property of another person if applied without compensation. This is a full training course that is complete with a testing period after the course in order to provide the Private Applicator permit to the participant. *Additional fee of $25.00 shall be forwarded by the applicant to the Department of Ag for Permit. Commercial applicator points will be awarded in AP (Ag Plant) and D&R (Demonstration and Research).

Description: The Alabama Cooperative Extension System is pleased to offer a course called "Farming 101" for new and transitioning farmers. This is the first time this program has been presented and participants will receive valuable information on a variety of topics and other resources to help them accomplish their goals. This session will focus on beekeeping and presented by Jack Rowe. The cost of the entire session is $80 or you can select the session(s) of your choice for $10 each and it includes materials and refreshments.
