Description: A Private Applicator uses or supervises the use of any pesticide for producing any agricultural commodity on property owned or rented, or on the property of another person if applied without compensation. This is a full training course that is complete with a testing period after the course in order for the participant to obtain a Private Applicator Permit. *An additional fee of $25.00 must be included with the application and sent by the participant to the AL Department of Ag & Industries (ADAI). The ADAI issues the Private Applicator Permit.

The first workshop will focus on establishment, disease and insect control, and pruning of fruit trees. Peaches, apples, and other common fruit trees will be discussed.
