Description: The Alabama Master Naturalist Program is offering its first training in the Wiregrass Region of Alabama starting in October, 2017 and ending in March, 2018. This is a statewide program whose goal is to help promote awareness, understanding, and respect of Alabama's natural world among Alabama's citizens and visitors. In addition, the AMN program strives to develop a statewide corps of wellinformed volunteers providing education, outreach, and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within their communities.

Description: QuickBooks for Farmers is a two evening class to train farmers on using the basic features of QuickBooks Pro accounting software. The first evening will cover building a sample farm file and entering sample data. The second evening will review a completed sample farm's year-end and management reports. This allows students to see a full year of QuickBooks data.
