Description: A Private Applicator uses or supervises the use of any pesticide for producing any agricultural commodity on property owned or rented, or on the property of another person if applied without compensation. This is a testing period after studying the Study Manual in order to provide the Private Applicator permit to the participant after scoring at least 70. *Additional fee of $25.00 shall be forwarded by the applicant to the Department of Ag for Permit.

Description: QuickBooks for Farmers is a two evening class to train farmers on using the basic features of QuickBooks Pro accounting software. The first evening will cover building a sample farm file and entering sample data. The second evening will review a completed sample farm's year-end and management reports. This allows students to see a full year of QuickBooks data.
