Description: At camp, kids will learn food safety, kitchen safety, food preparation skills, different cooking techniques, and how to prepare tasty, healthy dishes. The camp is free, but child needs to be enrolled in 4-H at www.Alabama4H.com and register for the camp by calling the Chilton Co Ext. Office at 205 280-6268 by July 13th. Space is limited.

Description: Are you up to the CHALLENGE? Or, should I say, challenges? Participants will be challenged to build a robot that can complete a course, launch a rocket that keeps its payload safe, fly a drone through an obstacle course, and create a game in a computer program. Description: Shelby County River Kids participants will launch at 33709 Highway 25 in Wilsonville at the private residence of Buck & Paula Phillips. We will begin with a brief paddling and safety lesson, paddle, break for lunch (participants need to bring a bag lunch) and then return to the Phillips' residence for take out.
