Description: This one day meeting will include indoor talks in the morning followed by outdoor field stations in the afternoon. It will be of interest to a wide range of people including foresters and other natural resource managers, horticultural professionals and Government agency personnel. The focus of this year's meeting is invasive plant control for habitat restoration, with closer looks at chinaberry, wisteria and kudzu control, as well as how to use herbicides effectively and an update on the revised certificate standards for pesticide applicators. An invasive plant ID challenge will be held again this year, with prizes to the top scorers. The meeting has been approved for the following CEUs:5 Cat 1 CFE, 5 PLM, and 6 CCA.
