Description: Live Well Faith Communities (LWFC) is a nine week program to improve the quality of life and economic well-being of Alabamians. LWFC programs are designed to work with faith based communities to offer programs and services to support their members. Lesson 1 focuses on Planning: Know What's for Dinner. In this lesson, participants will how to plan meal to eat better and save time and money. The faith community will learn how to plan healthy meals to serve at the faith community activities and events. LWFC is open to all faith communities.

Description: Today's Mom is comprised of a series of six lessons, each containing clearly stated goals. Each lesson consists of verbal and written instructions along with interactive activities designed to help moms-to-be learn to make healthy diet and physical activity choices for themselves and their babies. Today's Mom lessons are designed for ease of preparation and implementation. Lessons are scripted to make delivery easy. Accompanying materials reinforce lesson concepts and make learning about healthy eating simple and fun. Each lesson includes hands-on activities, recipes, and more. Activities reinforce concepts in ways that are fun and interactive.
