Rain Barrel Workshop: Chris Miller of the Auburn University Marine Extension & Research Center along with Denise Heubach of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System will be conducting a rain barrel workshop on Saturday, June 30th, 2012. A short program rain water collection, storm-water management, and water resource issues will be followed with the construction of the barrels. If you would like to participate, please register with the Auburn University Marine Center office by Monday, June 25th. To register, call (251)438-5690. Please keep in mind that you must be able to transport your completed barrel home at the end of the day. Checks must be made payable to Auburn University.
