Description: Urban Youth Farm Day Program is an educational, agricultural,as well as,social and leisure learning experiences in an outdoor classroom setting (FARM). Hands on activities allows youth grades 3-5, teachers,parents and community volunteers to get a glimpse of the lastest in agriculture technology and food productions. The event consist of a variety of organized tours and demonstrations conducted by Professionals in various agriculture related caeers. This year our focus is on Agriculture in Alabama with the hope that we can tackle the epidemic of childhood obesity by teaching the children how food gets from the farm to the table.
