| Description: |
Agriculture is Alabama's largest industry, and animal agriculture makes up the largest portion of that industry. Although horses are not usually thought of as "livestock", the horse industry in our state is very large and makes a significant impact on the economy of Alabama. Forages are an important and integral part of every horse's diet, and proper forage management can make a substantial impact on every horse owner's operation. The "Alabama Hay & Forage Field Day for Horse Owners" will offer an interesting and informative schedule of speakers and activities that will be of tremendous benefit to all horse owners in our state. Pre-reistration is required and space is limited. For more information please call Gerry Thompson at 256-508-2020. |
