Description: Cook4safety is a food handler course designed to teach basic food safety concepts to cooks, servers, and any other restaurant personnel. The course teaches food safety through a series of interactive activities that are directly related to food service. Participants will gain skills they can use on the job to keep food safe and will have a better understanding of how the ADPH Inspection Report relates to food safety.

Description: The Chilton Food Innovation Center, a fully equipped industrial kitchen that will provide local farmers and other aspiring entrepreneurs with opportunities and technical assistance with food processing, will be formally launched Tuesday, May 1. The formal opening will begin at 2:00 pm at the Center, located on 13 First Avenue in Clanton. The Food Innovation Center is a grassroots effort made possible by people from several local and state public and private entities.
