Health Rocks is a healthy living program for ages 10 years and up sponsored by the National 4-H Council. The goal is to bring youth families, and communities together to reduce tobacco, alcohol and drug use by youth. This event is part of the ongoing series of "Horse Owner Resource, Science, & Education" (H.O.R.S.E.) program in the TN Valley region. The speaker for this event is Leitha Lee, a local equine hoof care practictioner. This meeting will be lecture style and will include the use of interesting visual aids that show the parts of the hoof, etc. People that attend this meeting will become more informed about the basics of hoof care, how to deal with hoof problems, and know more about how to recognize hoof care emergencies.
