Description: Grass Masters is meant to be a basic level comprehensive study of land management as it pertains to forages being managed for utilization by livestock. Grass Masters consist of eight presentations taught in four sessions. The presentations topics are on Soil Fertility, Plant Physiology, Variety Selection, Clovers, Weed Control, Poisonous Plants, Entomology and Grazing Systems. The idea is for the participant of this class to have the tools to better manage forage resources to reduce the input cost of raising and carrying for livestock.
