DHR clients will receive 16 hours of instruction on the Ages and Stages of Development from birth to age 19. Principles of Parenting will be addressed in an attempt to offer parents acceptable methods/techniques of parenting. Videos, power point presentations, discussions and hands on activities will be included. Participants will receive a resource binder and books appropriate to their chidren's age to encourage daily reading. Those attending all eight sessions will receive a certificate of participation. |

Fall Field Day at the North Alabama Horticulture Research Center beginning at 4:30 pm. Participants will have the opportunity to tour the Research Center and see ongoing research including pumpkin variety trials, ornamental corn variety trials, cover-crop demonstrations, and no-till plantings.
