Description: Rocky Ravine Park is a great location for a Farmers Market. The park provides a safe, comfortable environment including shade, restroom, and fresh water. Some of the farmers also accept the Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers that are available to some seniors. Open through the summer on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Description: Alabama BCIA, working in cooperation with the Auburn Animal Sciences Department and the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, will host the 3rd annual statewide field day for interested seedstock producers as part of the BCIA Seedstock Continuing Education Program on Saturday, July 28 at the Auburn University Beef Teaching Unit. Discussions will focus on forage grazing strategies with emphasis on forage varieties and legume management, weed control options and a demonstration for weed identification, a producer panel to discuss donor cow selection for embryo transfer programs and results from estrus synchronization and artificial insemination demonstrations held last fall, with replacement heifer development and estrus synchronization tools. Early registration by July 18 is recommended with a registration fee of $25.00 per person. On site registration will also be offered at $35.00 per person. Description: The 2nd Annual Lincoln Wellness and Informational Fair consist of vendors from the health and business industries. Participants will have the opportunity to visit several exhibits, have free health screenings, attend seminars on health related issues, finacial management, couponing, and how to save on energy bills. School supplies will be distributed to area students/parents. Admission is free. Note: two door prize tickets will be given to those who bring non-perishable food item(s)-within date for the Lincoln Food Pantry.
