Description: Rocky Ravine Park is a great location for a Farmers Market. The park provides a safe, comfortable environment including shade, restroom, and fresh water. Some of the farmers also accept the Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers that are available to some seniors. Open through the summer on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Description: The Community Health Aerobic Motivational Program Initiating Optimal Nutrition (CHAMPION) was designed to improve the overall health of children, teens, adults, including the elderly through lifestyle changes such as adopting obtainable and safe eating practices, daily physical activity, and improving behavioral habits to aid in the prevention, intervention, and maintenance of chronic diseases. There are many stages of this program for all audiences. Children and teens under the age of 18 will only be taught nutrition education and the importance of physical activity. Individuals age 18 and older participate in the weight management component that includes classes on nutrition, physical activity, and chronic diseases.
