Description: The list of speakers is still in the development stage but to date we have the following committed: Kim Flottum who is the editor of Bee Culture, Dr. Clarence Collison from Mississippi, Dr. Tew, and Sherry Ferrell from Ohio. Besides all of these great speakers, we are going to have several members of the Alabama Beekeepers who will be doing workshops. We are planning to have the exam for the Apprentice Level as they start working towards the level of Alabama Master Beekeeper. There will be topics for everyone whether you are an experienced beekeeper, beginning beekeeper, or non-beekeepers. There will be plenty to eat and plenty to do, plus the fellowship will be great.

Description: Participants in this workshop will tour the water harvesting project at the museum that holds 3200 gallons of rain water and is used to water a nearby garden. In addition, they will construct a 55 gallon rain barrel to take home. The cost for the rain barrel is $35.00 which is payable on the day of the workshop but you must register in advance. Description: Alabama 4-H Volunteers are welcome to join the Alabama delegation to the Southern Region Volunteer Forum held at the C.A. Vines 4-H Center in Little Rock, Arkansas this year. The four-day event will host workshops, volunteer celebration events and a series of educational and motivational speakers. Delegates will also get to spend a day touring popular Little Rock attractions including the Clinton library.
