Description: Healthy, disease-free cattle are an important part of having a profitable cattle farm. In today's cattle industry livestock move from one state to another more frequently than ever before, especially due to extreme drought condidtions that are widespread throughout the country. This meeting will give livestock producers the opportunity to learn more about managing the biosecurity of their farms to protect against important infectious diseases. The guest speaker for this event is Dr Soren Rodning, Extension Veterinarian for the Alabama Cooperative Extension System.
