A 'Home Grown' Workshop will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009 at the Heflin Community Arts Center located at 279 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Heflin. This meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $10 and includes lunch. Participants must pre-register by calling the Cleburne County Extension office at 256-463-2620.Topics to be discussed will include: Vegetable Garden Basics, Soils & Plant Nutrition, Raised Bed Gardening, Container Gardening, Home Fruit Selection, and Fruit & Vegetable Nutrition Facts. |
