A three part evening 'Home Grown' Workshop will be held weekly beginning Thursday, March 12th on the campus of Auburn University in Comer Hall of the College of Agriculture. It will start at 5 p.m. and conclude at 7 p.m. each night. Cost is $10 for the three night series or $5 per night. March 12th - Vegetable Garden Basics. March 19th - Soils & Plant Nutrition and Raised Bed Gardening. March 26th - Container Gardening, and Home Fruit Selection. Participants must pre-register by calling the Lee County Extension office at 334-749-3353. |
