This will be the 8th Alabama Forage Conference. It will be the first to be held in West Alabama. The event is expected to draw from both Alabama and Mississippi Extension clientel. Topics to be discuss will include issues dealing with establishment and utilization of legumes, hay production and marketing, weed control, root growth demonstration and plenty more. Nationally, known speakers from University of Kentucky, Texas A&M University, Clemson University, Mississippi State University and several State Extension Specialist from Auburn University will be present to provide the most current information on forages and weed control for both cattle producers and horse owners. The event will be held at the University of West Alabama. |
