Description: An economic development conference with two keynote speakers, two pannel discussions, informational and entrepreneural exhibits. Theme: "Strategies for Navigating a Tough Economy." The morning session will be "Individuals: Managing Our Finances during Tough Times". Topics planned are: Healthcare Options, Finding a Job in a Tough Market, Retirement Planning, and Investment Strategies. The afternoon session will be "Small Business Entrepreneurs: Managing Our Finances during Tough Times". Topics planned are: Hiring and Handling Employees for Your Business, Accounting, Marketing, Raising Capital, and Landing Contracts.
