| Description: |
We recognize that when a crisis arises, such as a job loss, financial difficulties, marital or emotional problems, or health and family issues, the increase in stress levels make it difficult to resolve conflicts. Individuals are often unaware of resources and options for resolving their crisis. The program is designed to provide options and assistance for the participants utilizing available resources. Moreover, the training is designed to help the stakeholder and their families improve their skills in stress management, in understanding the patterns and problems of community and family living, improve self esteem, role-competency, and social functioning. The goal of the program is to access people who are in need of tools to proactively address stress management, but are not receiving them. We are targeting those who traditionally do not seek these services. |
